Congratulations to Bob “Offcamber” for November 2015 JOTM Winner!

The photo was taken the on our last day in Ouray this year after attending the Jeep Jamboree there. Friday and Saturday we did the Ouray Jamboree with the guys from Screaming Lizard Customs and had a great time. I think our favorite part of the trip was Sunday when we decided to take the Last Dollar Road from Ridgeway to Telluride and that photo was taken at an overlook off of the Last Dollar Road. We drove the 35 miles through the back country and into Telluride, picked up some food and then had a picnic at another of the overlooks. We drove about half the trip back after sunset and it was a great experience. There are very few other vehicles on the road so you feel like you are a million miles away from civilization. It’s mostly ranch country so there are lots of cattle, horses and of course the local wildlife. We saw tons of deer, elk and even a bear on the drive back. My jeep is a 2012 Rubicon with 3.5″ of lift, 35″ Nitto tires, Fox 2.0 shocks, synergy suspension steering components, Rampage front bumper, AEV rear bumper and Baja Designs Stealth lightbar which was awesome for driving the backroads at night!
